Hand Coffman is a artist based in NYC. From a young age they have experimented with their use of colors and had a unique vision. Their process of creation allows them to explore their feelings by sifting through the shapes and images created in laying down the paint. They have experimented and created new painting techniques by layering and distorting paint with whatever tools he can find within reach. As each layer dries, he finds shapes and stories within the paint to create the composition. The layers of paint create a unique visual that brings the painting to life. The process is his inspiration. They sell their art on the streets of the city with their partner and collaborator Nando. Together they make art under the name NANHAN. There is a page on the shop dedicated to their collaborations. They also do live portrait pop ups at events across the city.
